5 Must-Try Costco Kirkland Snacks

I’ve always been a bit of a nibbler. To be a successful nibbler, you need a variety of snacks at your disposal.

Enter Costco. Although it’s my go-to place for essentials like milk, eggs, and produce, I’ve been known to buy quite a few snacks in bulk at Costco. And some of my favorite snack products are made by Costco’s own brand, Kirkland Signature. Here are 5 products I really like. I hope you all give it a try too.

1. Kirkland Signature Cashew Cluster

Some people prefer sweet treats. Others prefer it salty. Kirkland Cashew Clusters are an amazing combination of the two. A mixture of cashews, almonds and pumpkin seeds is coated in a slightly sweet glaze that isn’t overpowering. And with 5 grams of protein per serving, these clusters are a great snack to take on a hike.

Now one thing to be warned about is that this cluster is pretty rock solid. In fact, it’s so hard that I sometimes worry that my teeth will break (to be fair, my teeth aren’t the strongest). If you have dentures or have vulnerable teeth, this may not be the best purchase. Otherwise, my friends, get crushed.

2. Kirkland Signature Sweet Heat Snack Mix

Sometimes I like a little tang in my life. Meet Kirkland’s Sweet Heat Snack Mix. Contains barbecue-flavored almonds, seasoned cashews, honey-toasted sesame sticks, corn nuggets and glazed pecans. The heat is there, but not overwhelming.

That’s important to me. Because I like to snack on this mixture sometimes while I’m working late into the night to get some energy. But if you keep gulping down the spices, you’ll have to go to the bathroom more often and be less productive.

3. Kirkland Signature Peanut Butter Filled Pretzel Nuggets

I love all things peanut butter. I like to dip apples, spread them on toast, and cover them with chocolate.

For this reason, these pretzel nuggets are totally my jam. There was a time when I gorged on about 30 pieces at once because they were so packed with peanut butter that you could easily fit them into one bite. (For context, Costco says they serve 8 pretzels. If you can only eat 8, I applaud your self-control.)

4. Kirkland Signature Praline Pecan

I admit I can’t consume praline pecans at the same rate as peanut butter filled pretzels. Since they are quite sweet, eating 6 to 7 at a time is usually enough. (If you want to fall within Costco’s serving size recommendations, I guess that’s good.)

Now, if you’ve ever shopped at Trader Joe’s and tried praline pecans, you should know that this is similar. I think Trader Joe’s version is a bit crunchier, which I prefer. But ultimately, I think they’re both very tasty snacks.

5. Kirkland Signature Milk Chocolate Almond

I know that snacking on plain old nuts is probably a lot healthier than eating chocolate-covered nuts in large quantities. But these milk chocolate almonds are truly irresistible. The chocolate is smooth and creamy, and there is a generous portion per nut.

However, as the only one in my family who enjoys these, one problem I sometimes face is that these nuts can get a little spoiled if the container is left open for too long. So I make sure to buy them before inviting my friends over. That way, you can put some away and enjoy the rest yourself and avoid waste.

Of course, these are just five of the great Kirkland snacks you can find online or at your local Costco store. If you like them, it’s a good idea to go through them one at a time to reduce potential waste or staleness.

And remember, if you’re not satisfied with your Kirkland purchase for any reason, you can always take it to Costco for a full refund. For example, you might not like the feeling of breaking your teeth, so if you buy a bunch of cashews and decide they’re too hard for your liking, you can return them for a refund. Most of the bag. Likewise, if you think the pecans are too sweet, you can do the same.

Costco emphasizes every product it sells. But this especially applies to Costco’s own brand, Kirkland products. So if any of these purchases don’t work out for you, don’t hesitate to get a refund to your credit card. But there’s a good chance that you’ll love what you buy and, like me, incorporate it into your regular snacking routine.
