September 2023 Work Progress Report: New firmware for Bitcoin Cash and Nerai, Ice River Kaspa miners
bitcoin cash mining
Bitcoin Cash, commonly known as BCH, was created as a result of Bitcoin’s hard fork in August 2017. It emerged as a response to Bitcoin’s scalability issues and aimed to provide larger block sizes to accommodate more transactions at a faster rate. Like Bitcoin, BCH uses the SHA-256 mining algorithm and maintains a block time of approximately 10 minutes.
Considering the importance of Bitcoin Cash in the cryptocurrency market, its current price of $242.73 and the fact that it is the 16th largest cryptocurrency in the world, 2Miners decided to offer Bitcoin Cash mining services to the community. We offer both POOL and SOLO mining options for BCH miners. If you want to pool your resources, you can find all the settings you need in the 2Miners BCH Pools Help. Solo miners, on the other hand, can access the configuration from the Solo BCH 2Miners help.
One of the great features of mining BCH at 2Miners is payment flexibility. Miners can choose between BTC or BCH as rewards. Specifically, payments for Bitcoin (BTC) are sent to the “bc..” address, while for Bitcoin Cash (BCH) they can be sent to the “bitcoincash:..” or “q..” addresses. If your exchange offers the “1..” address format, use the official Bitcoin Cash address converter to adapt it to the “bitcoincash:..” format. The best part is that while there is a minimal cost for BTC payouts (less than $0.2), receiving rewards in BCH is completely free.
New Coin – New Rai
In September, 2Miners continued its tradition of expanding the list of supported cryptocurrencies by adding Neurai (XNA). This addition allows miners to utilize Newrai’s potential in both regular pooled and solo modes. This coin operates based on the KAWPOW algorithm, which is gaining attention among various cryptocurrencies. The most representative coin that uses the KAWPOW algorithm is Ravencoin (RVN), which is also available on 2Miners.
For those interested in the technical aspects of XNA mining, all detailed specifications, miner setup guides and profitability evaluations can be found in our comprehensive post titled How to Mine Neurai Using GPUs: Specifications, Miner Setup and Profitability there is. We are always striving to provide the mining community with the latest and most profitable options, and Neurai is the latest addition to our commitment to this.
Callisto delisting
As part of our ongoing efforts to provide only the most profitable and popular mining options to our users, we have decided to delist the Callisto (CLO) mining pool from 2Miners. This change took effect on September 11 at 06:00 UTC. For those looking for alternatives, we recommend using 2CryptoCalc.com to find the best coins to mine and get the most out of your mining efforts.
Bitmain Antminer KS3 Settings
In the ever-evolving world of cryptocurrency mining, mining powerhouse Bitmain has launched the Antminer KS3 ASIC Miner. Boasting an impressive hashrate of up to 9.4TH/s, this machine consumes 3500W to deliver excellent performance. Recognized as the most expensive KAS miner on the market, the potential rewards justify the cost, with daily earnings exceeding $200, according to 2CryptoCalc.com.
If you are using Antminer KS3 on 2Miners, we recommend using the higher difficulty port.
For pools, connect to:

For solo mining, use:

You can always find the settings on the 2Miners Kaspa help page.
New firmware for Ice River Kaspa Miners
Kaspa has established itself as one of the best mining coins, and the development of its hashrate is very important for miners aiming for maximum profitability. In line with this, notable updates have been released for KS0, KS1 and KS2 Ice River Kaspa ASIC Miners. This update is a new firmware that can increase the hash rate by a whopping 25%. However, miners must be aware that as performance increases, so do requirements. Upgrades may require improved cooling solutions and potentially better power supplies, so careful installation is important.
Installation is simple for those ready to take the leap. Users simply save the .bgz file and then upload it through the “Firmware Upgrade” section in the dashboard. A quick reboot after upload ensures smooth operation. The required firmware files are conveniently located in the Telegram channel for each specific model.
To further optimize mining efforts, 2Miners has set up special difficulty ports for each miner.
