Global game developer Wemade announced today that Estonian game developer DevDream House OÜ will release the multiplayer turn-based strategy game ‘RoboHero’. The world’s largest blockchain game platform, WEMIX PLAY (www.wemixplay.com). Scheduled for release in Q1 2024, RoboHero is one of the first mobile games with an ecosystem designed for players in the Web2 and Web3 worlds and is available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

In “RoboHero,” the action unfolds in the post-apocalyptic metaverse 31337, where war robot factions fight for resources. Players choose from one of three factions – ETER, DEUTER, and PLASMA – and three character classes – Tank, Shooter, and Sniper – with different fighting styles. Each RoboHero has a unique trait that combines base attributes, attributes, factions, classes, and their bonuses. ‘Robohero’ also features a carefully designed character development system where characters gain experience in battle and evolve as they meet certain conditions, gaining increasingly better statistics.

Players can defeat their opponents in duels by inflicting more damage or taking control of most buildings on the map. Enter story mode (player vs. environment) Collect NFT items by winning successive missions or participate in multiplayer mode (player to player) Fight your opponents for $ROBO. ““RoboHero”, a Web3-based game, offers the following key features:

  • Players can use $ROBO tokens to purchase RoboHero robots from the RoboHero LootBox.

  • Players can choose between two play modes: Story Mode (PvE) and FightClub Mode (PvP).

    • In Story Mode, players can explore new territories, fight bosses, and earn in-game tokens to upgrade their robots and equipment.

    • FightClub mode allows players to create or join fight rooms and compete against each other for $ROBO tokens.

    • Players can participate in tournaments to compete for additional $ROBO tokens.

  • Players can use $ROBO tokens to purchase NFT items such as energy boosters, helmets, legs, weapons, and grenades in a special marketplace.

  • Players can create an account in the marketplace and pair it with a game to manage their robots and NFT items.

More about NFTs – Equipment, Land, Mines, Billboards
The game includes numerous NFT implementations such as lands, billboards, mines, and items.

  • equipment: Each RoboHero faction has a unique gear NFT that increases the power, vitality, or range of their affiliated RoboHeroes, which can be found in chests scattered throughout the RoboHero world. Each RoboHero has three pieces of interchangeable gear, including a helmet, limb armor, and Corpus shield. According to legend, completing all three item sets will allow your Robohero to evolve into a higher form.

  • land: Land plays an important role, as mines can only spawn on land, and combat and gameplay also take place on land. Land owners are entitled to a pooled token for every battle that takes place on each land NFT, allowing them to purchase and freely trade on the marketplace.

  • mine: The game requires you to use copper, iron, titanium and precious metals (gold, silver and platinum) to craft equipment and weapons. As the only source of these materials, mines play an important role in RoboHero and can be purchased or traded in the market.

  • In-game billboard advertising: RoboHero introduces a new billboard advertising model that places 1,000 billboards on buildings throughout the game environment. Billboard owners can advertise their own social media accounts and products, or they can instead choose to rent advertising space for a predetermined amount on a weekly/monthly basis or sell their billboards for a profit.

“WEMIX is a great partner for us, and their extensive gaming industry experience will be key to RoboHero delivering new innovations in the Web3 gaming space,” said Jakub Stefanek, CEO of RoboHero Mobile Games. “As developers, we are very excited. We have the opportunity to collaborate with such a well-known company and we look forward to shaping the future of Web3 games together.”
