Cryptocurrency exchange OKX has launched a cryptocurrency exchange service and digital wallet platform in Argentina.

According to the statement, Argentine users will have access to OKX’s non-custodial Web3 wallet for DeFi activities, NFTs and dApp usage. Argentine users will also have access to OKX P2P, the company’s peer-to-peer trading platform, which allows verified local customers to trade with Spanish support and local payment options.

“We are excited to officially launch the latest expansion of our world-class cryptocurrency exchange and web3 wallet in one of the most active cryptocurrency markets in Latin America,” Hong Fang, president of OKX, said in a statement. . “The enormous potential of cryptocurrency and blockchain is expanding across Latin America, and Argentina represents an important springboard for our regional growth strategy.”

Korea’s problem

While the expansion in Argentina strengthens OKX’s global reach, the company faces potential challenges elsewhere in the world. The Block previously reported that South Korean authorities were investigating OKX for allegedly promoting the token trading platform Jumpstart without proper registration.
