Jutta’s update on bug bounty program and security audits
hi, Utah Rewrite. I first introduced myself earlier this year when we launched the bounty program, and I’m happy to provide an update on what’s happening on the security side before and throughout the launch.
We received high quality submissions from bounty hunters. It was a tribute to the creative exploit that made the bug possible. The number of submissions has increased recently. Therefore, we have decided and announced that we will continue the bounty program at least throughout the Frontier phase of the Ethereum launch plan. Gabe’s and Vinace That blog post.

We rely not only on individual bug hunters and the community, but also with EthDev. Gustav Simonsson, I began the process of selecting professional security experts, academics, and blockchain experts for an external security audit late last year. Gustav is currently working with auditors and the Ethereum Go development team to track all tagged security issues. here Try solving the problem. We keep track of all issues and try to close them only once they are fully resolved and the solution has been fully tested. Any bugs we find have been addressed and will be fixed before Frontier launches. If you want to keep track of our progress, follow us on github.
The first work of security auditors will be completed in a few weeks and bug fixes are already well underway. It takes time to resolve all issues. Ultimately, this is a security-driven process, not a schedule-driven process.
