Xai Gaming token has hit an all-time high and Ronin is still recovering after its founder’s wallet was depleted.

Tokens linked to two popular blockchain gaming networks made big moves over the past day, as tokens on the Arbitrum layer 3 network Xai continued their recent rise and hit new all-time highs. Ronin, on the other hand, showed signs of recovery after the tie. – The founder’s wallet was hacked.

XAI pumped overnight to set a new high of $1.51 on Friday morning, but has since fallen to $1.35. Despite this, it is up more than 6% on the day and more than 37% in the past week alone. It is one of a few prominent gaming tokens to recently hit new all-time highs, including tokens for Heroes of Mavia (MAVIA), Parallel (PRIME), and the Beam network (BEAM).

Xai’s token debuted in January and has risen nearly twice its debut price, according to data from CoinGecko.

The token was released as an airdrop to early network supporters and select NFT holders, and at today’s high price, the 125 million XAI gained from the airdrop was valued at approximately $189 million. Arbitrum is an Ethereum scaling network.

Meanwhile, the RON token of gaming-focused Ethereum scaling network Ronin is gradually recovering after plummeting last night after network co-founder Jeff “Jiho” Zirlin’s personal wallet was compromised, leaking millions of dollars worth of cryptocurrency.

Approximately 3,250 ETH ($9.5 million) was stolen from Zirlin’s wallet and funneled through coin mixer Tornado Cash to conceal their movements. sick of Confirmed on Twitter Late on Thursday, he revealed that he had been the victim of an attack that immediately affected the price of RON.

“Today was a difficult morning for me. “Two of my addresses have been compromised,” he tweeted. “The attack is limited to my personal account and has nothing to do with the verification or operation of the Ronin Chain. Additionally, the leaked keys have nothing to do with Sky Mavis’ operations.”

A Ronin spokesperson confirmed that the attack was limited to Zirlin’s personal wallet and did not affect the network itself, its bridge to Ethereum, or the Ethereum game chain, as well as developer Sky Mavis, the creator of the Axie Infinity game. Ronin’s bridge previously exploited $622 million worth of cryptocurrency in 2022, but affected users were ultimately reimbursed by Sky Mavis.

RON fell from $3.16 to $2.74 in the minutes following Thursday’s attack. It has since partially recovered and surpassed $3.00 several times, but currently sits at $2.90 per CoinGecko. It was down 9% today, but was about the same last week.

The token has seen a significant boost in recent months thanks to the emergence of Pixels, a retro social farming game that helped attract hundreds of thousands of monthly active users to the chain. The PIXEL token was launched on Monday and generated over $1 billion in trading volume in less than a day, making it one of the top 10 most traded coins in the world that day.
