Wall Street Today: US stocks fell after a rebound on AI boost and easing inflation.

Wall Street’s main indexes opened calmly on Friday after rallies in the previous session, driven by inflation figures and the ongoing artificial intelligence frenzy that strengthened the likelihood of a rate cut by June this year.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 6.88 points (0.02%) to 38,989.51 at the time of opening.

The S&P 500 index closed at 5,098.51, up 2.24 points (0.04%), and the Nasdaq Composite Index closed at 16,109.83, up 17.90 points (0.11%).
