Robert Alice made NFT history and now he’s writing about it.

Part of the “SOURCE (On NFT)” project is to look at the idea of truth through history, especially in terms of the NFT space. This is actually a project that influenced the creation of this book. We used a form of machine learning to train the algorithm on a tower of historical texts, major texts including fourth-century philosophy, cryptography white papers, works of science fiction, and politics. I found a kind of soul in each text, in all these keywords. Using machine learning in a completely free-associative way, and the architecture being fundamentally open, has generated some provocative things that aren’t necessarily what I believe they are as artists who wrote the algorithms. You have all these different elements. There are AIs that store the truth, AIs that create hallucinations, and blockchains that immutably record what happens in the face of post-truth politics. And the point is to show people that words can be combined together to create any meaning and result and you don’t necessarily have to stand behind them. You see, they just promote the fact that language is another power.
