NFT sales increase 20% this week, Bitcoin and Ethereum NFT sales explode +10%

The non-fungible token market has been on the rise this week, with significant increases in Ethereum, Solana, and Bitcoin NFT transaction sales. Nevertheless, the NFT market is going contrary to the expectations of many cryptocurrency investors amid the recent upturn in the cryptocurrency market. This is because the majority of investors expected a stronger NFT bull market.

The surge in the non-fungible token market is due to the recent rally in the cryptocurrency market, which caused the flagship cryptocurrency ‘Bitcoin’ to surpass the $68,000 level for the first time in two years. Bitcoin, the same blockchain network that powers the flagship cryptocurrency Bitcoin, was the most traded blockchain network on the NFT market this week. Over the past seven days, Bitcoin-based NFT collections have recorded $180 million in transaction sales, a 38% jump from the previous week.
