Client – What is ‘isBuyerMaker’ in Binance’s ‘Aggregate Transactions – Spot’ dataset?
I understand the meaning of market maker and taker. The ‘isBuyerMaker’ column is perfectly suited to setting up a transaction data set. However, if you aggregate past transactions at the same time and unit price, a buyer could theoretically be a maker in one transaction and a taker in another. This causes an inconsistency in ‘isBuyerMaker’.
My question is how does Binance aggregate these transaction data? Is the aggregated ‘Maker’ column determined by first trade/last trade or majority vote?
