Ethereum game ‘Nifty Island’ launches Speedrun Challenge – How to acquire NFT

Nifty Island, an Ethereum blockchain game built on user-generated content, announced its launch on Friday. Two-part speedrunning challenge Centered around a new play mode called “Break the Targets,” both level creators and players can earn NFT rewards through participation.

Over the weekend, level creators can design their own unique courses around the play mode, giving players a course to maximize their runs while shooting targets. The community team selects the top three “most creative courses” to help players achieve record times while playing.

“Builders and speedrunners, now is your time to shine!” Nifty Island said in a tweet:

Creators have until March 31st at 4pm ET to create a course and post the video to Twitter using the hashtag #Nifty. According to Nifty Island, the tweet must be posted to the “BTT Challenge” channel on the official Nifty Island Discord server.

Courses will be evaluated “based on visual appeal, fun, and creativity,” and more information can be found on the Discord server. Nifty Island, launched last January, is a 3D social game that allows players to design islands, complete quests, earn NFT rewards, and participate in airdrops. Offers cross-chain integration including Ethereum, Polygon, and Base.

Nifty Island said the winners of each event will be awarded NFT prizes including Palms, Ultra Blades and Legendary Pistols. These limited-edition tokenized in-game items can provide special benefits to players as Nifty Island expands, especially during the current play-airdrop drive leading to the launch of the ISLAND token.

The top three courses will be awarded the Iron Palm, and the top ten speedrunners across the three courses will receive the Bronze Palm, Iron Palm, and Ultra Blade for the top three runners, and the Legendary Pistol for the remaining runners.

“Good luck to the islanders,” Nifty Island tweeted.
