Tata Steel records record annual crude steel production in 2023/24

Tata Steel India recorded its highest annual crude steel production at 20.8 million metric tonnes in 2023/24, up 4% over the previous year, according to provisional data released by the company.

Tata Steel said its Netherlands production was down 24% year-on-year to 4.8 million metric tons during 2023/24, while UK production was unchanged from the previous year at 3.02 million metric tons.
