Expert is based on the ARGO series. Specializes in GOLD / XAUUSD trading. 2 or 3 digits. All settings are default. Before actually using a professional, we recommend optimizing your work as follows: Set the optimization mode of the tester and set the value of the parameter Filter in% from 1 to 5 in steps of 0.01/indicated in the attached file/usually the value of the filter is 2-3%. Although you can use Trail Stop, experts do not recommend using Trail Stop at all as it works perfectly without it.

Because there are differences in indicator values ​​across brokers, this filter is provided to remove these differences. In test mode, you should set the optimization mode as shown to see which value of this parameter is best for your broker.

Spread settings for test MT4:

When performing the MT4 Expert Test, don’t forget to enter your typical spread values ​​as shown here. This is especially necessary if you run the test on a weekend when the value of the current spread is the last quote. This is usually a very different or much wider spread/

important! During testing or actual operation of Argo Gold Edition, if the gold symbol is different from usual / XAUUSD; XAU_USD ; GOLD / Then you must enter the gold symbol exactly along with the prefix and suffix in the input parameters in the User symbol field. Example: XAUUSDbc or GOLD_r etc.

Preferably it includes a Christmas filter. This period is accompanied by high volatility, so trading between 22.12 and 5.01 is prohibited.

Set the maximum spread at which the expert is willing to open a position. Of course, using a broker with lower spreads can also give you better results.
You can choose your risk level through money management. Typically 5-15% is an acceptable risk, but more aggressive players can experiment with much higher risks. 🙂
I recommend using no more than 5-6 open positions. However, if your account allows for more borrowing margin, you can set up more positions (e.g. 8 or 10)! Of course, try it in test mode first.
