Global Health fourth quarter results: Net profit rose 25% to Rs 127 crore.

New Delhi, Global Health, which operates hospitals under the Medanta brand, reported a 25 per cent rise in consolidated profit after tax to Rs 127 crore in the March 2024 quarter. The healthcare provider had recorded a profit after tax of Rs 102 crore in the January-March quarter of the previous fiscal.

Global Health said in a statement on Saturday that total revenue for the fourth quarter rose to 836 million rupees compared to 732 million rupees in the same period last year.

For the financial year ended March 31, 2024, the company said its net profit rose to Rs 478 crore compared to Rs 326 crore in FY23.

Total revenue increased from Rs 2,759 crore in fiscal 2022-23 to Rs 3,350 crore in the last fiscal.

“Our continued focus on providing the highest quality care to our patients enabled Medanta to deliver strong financial performance during the year,” said Pankaj Sahni, CEO and Director, Global Health Group. He added that the company remains committed to executing its core strategy and delivering on future projects. “Medanta is well positioned to drive near-term growth by coordinating bed capacity expansion in existing hospitals and new facilities,” Sahni said.
