MintyCode now supports Tezos (XTZ): boosting developer activity

Tezos is now supported on MintyCode

Tezos, an open source blockchain network, is now supported by MintyCode, an innovative platform for open source contributors, creators, and users. According to a report by Tezos Spotlight, this integration aims to increase developer activity on the Tezos platform by providing new financial incentives.

Strengthening Tezos developer engagement

MintyCode, a marketplace for open source contributors, is known to offer financial incentives such as grants, bounties, or paid support requests. Platform support for Tezos aims to increase developer engagement by allowing developers to submit paid support or feature requests. This move will allow the Tezos community to monitor and support these activities in real time.

MintyCode previously ran successfully on Etherlink through a bounty program that ended at the ETH Oxford hackathon two months ago. This collaboration with Tezos is an important step in expanding our bounty offering and solidifying our commitment to fostering a vibrant developer community.

Getting started with MintyCode

To use MintyCode, developers must create an account and follow the steps on the landing page. You can also use your GitHub account. After creating an account, users will be prompted to link additional accounts such as GitHub, Stripe, Ethereum wallet, Tezos wallet and provide KYC details. These details, particularly those relating to receipt of payments, are required to use the Platform.

Setting up the platform allows developers to explore different open source projects, propose new features, apply for grants, and see if bounties are available. The platform also allows you to collaborate with other users and track the progress of your requests in real time.

final thoughts

Integrating Tezos support into MintyCode opens another funding path for developers interested in building on the Tezos blockchain. The ability for the community to track and monitor paid support or grant requests in real time increases transparency and creates a sense of community. This is an important step towards strengthening the Tezos ecosystem and boosting developer activity.
