New ways to raise cash and game chain migration

Evaluators will be rewarded for their efforts with tokens if the project they support successfully reaches the fundraising stage.

Mythos Chain Moves to Polkadot

Mythos Chain is used to provide a framework to support Mythical Gaming, a gaming company developing mobile games. NFL Rivals, nitro nation and the now-defunct Blankos Bloc Party. The developer’s games all focus on the player ownership economy and enabling NFT trading.

The migration will see 1,000,000 DOT tokens exchanged for 15,000,000 MYTH tokens, with another 5,000,000 MYTH tokens used as incentives and subsidies to ecosystem partners.

According to Mythical Games, Mythical is working closely with Parity Technologies to migrate the chain, which processes nearly 4 million transactions per month.

The migration won’t affect the company’s relationship with the Apple and Google app stores, and creators will be able to keep their games running with minimal changes using a slightly updated SDK.

Polkadot attends Consensus 2024

Polkadot will be attending Consensus 2024 in Austin, Texas from May 29th to May 31st.

After passing through a series of themed booths to learn about how Polkadot is used, attendees can earn Proof of Attendance Protocol (POAP) tokens, collectible digital badges that prove they attended the event.

Indycar and NASCAR star and Polkadot ambassador Conor Daly will be in attendance, and you can meet Conor in person and collect autographed merchandise.

Polkadot will also host fireside chats discussing real-world blockchain applications in designated “chill zones.”
