Taiko (TAI) Launches Trailblazers Program with 12 Million TAIKO Prize Pool

Taiko announced the launch of its Trailblazers program, offering users and users alike a significant reward pool of 12 million TAIKO tokens. decentralized application (dApps) are used on the platform. According to Taiko, the program is designed to encourage engagement and engagement within the ecosystem over a three-month period.

How does it work?

The Trailblazers ranking system will launch immediately, allowing users to earn XP points through various on-chain activities. These activities include linking ETH with ERC20 tokens, trading volume related to ETH, and USDC, number of transactions and block proposals. Users can also collect faction badges, which act as XP multipliers to increase their overall rank and reward potential.

Taiko retroactively allocated XP to users following the mainnet launch, ensuring early adopters received credit for their participation. However, users should be careful with faction badges. This is because if you sell a badge mid-season you will lose that XP multiplier. Conversely, if you purchase an NFT mid-season, your accumulated XP will be immediately reflected in your user profile.

ranking structure

The ranking system uses a dynamic percentile model where participants are categorized into levels based on XP. Higher levels receive exponentially larger rewards, with the top two tiers sharing a pool of 1 million TAIKO tokens. The remaining 9 million tokens will be distributed across different levels, providing rewards proportional to users’ participation and activity throughout the season.

This non-linear reward distribution promotes active participation, motivating users to increase XP and achieve higher ranks. The more active a user is, the more likely they are to receive significant rewards by the end of the season.

dApp participation

In addition to user participation, the Trailblazers program also provides incentives to dApp developers. The program tracks activities such as Unique Active Wallets (UAW), total transactions, gas usage, and Total Value Locked (TVL). Various campaigns and competitions will be held specifically for dApps, starting with the bridging competition.

dApp developers will be allocated 2 million TAIKO tokens as a reward to encourage innovative applications and increase activity on the Taiko platform.

Compensation and Distribution

You can claim 12 million TAIKO tokens during the three-month season. Users will compete for 10 million TAIKO tokens, with the top two levels receiving significant rewards. The remaining 2 million tokens will be earmarked for dApps to foster a vibrant application ecosystem on the Taiko Network.

At the end of each season, eligible users have a 30-day billing period to claim their rewards. To maintain fairness, all participants’ XP will be reset, but they will be awarded a small bonus based on their previous season’s XP.

Security and Fairness Measures

Taiko has implemented several measures to ensure a level playing field. There is a daily points cap per category to prevent any single user from monopolizing the rewards. A Sybil detection mechanism will be in place to identify and blacklist fraudulent addresses to ensure genuine engagement.

In summary, Taiko’s Trailblazers program aims to drive engagement and innovation on the platform by providing significant rewards to both users and developers. Through a dynamic ranking system and fair distribution model, Taiko is creating a competitive yet inclusive environment for the community.
