BC.GAME Partners with Cloud9 to Expand Esports Portfolio through Corporate Acquisition

BC.GAME and Cloud9 Esports are expanding their existing partnership with Cloud9 acquiring Dota 2 esports team Entity. As part of the deal, the Europe-based Entity has been renamed Cloud9 BC.GAME Dota 2.

Entity is a European Dota 2 team known for their strong performances and high rankings in the competitive Dota 2 scene. The team has consistently performed well in various tournaments and has achieved impressive global rankings, most recently taking first place in the 1win Series Dota 2 Spring 2024.

The rebranded Cloud9 BC.GAME Dota 2 team is set to make its debut at one of the biggest events in esports, The International 2024.

Cloud9 has a strong track record of supporting the Dota 2 scene. Cloud9 first joined the Dota 2 scene in 2014. Their roster includes prominent players such as Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao, SingSing, Johan “N0tail” Sundstein, and Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling, which have helped them establish themselves in the competitive Dota 2 landscape. With their newfound presence, Cloud9 has committed significant resources to support the team’s competitive growth and potential.

Both partnerships are supported by leading sports marketing agency SportQuake.
