Funds with Global Accelerator and UNDP for a blockchain for Good Alliance

Dubai, UAE, April 24, 2025 / Prnewswire / – Blockchain for Good Alliance (BGA), Along with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and Emurgo Labs, global non -profit initiatives have launched the SDG Blockchain Accelerator. This began its global efforts aimed at using blockchain driving society influence initiatives over the UN Sustainable Development goal (SDG). The program aims to provide UNDP employees and partners with knowledge, technology, support and mentoring needed to develop, control and scale block chain -based solutions that solve the actual economic development problem.

The acceleration of this many years, supported by the global industry expert network, rides two cohorts every year and operates for four months, focusing on capacity building, solution development, and ecosystem growth. Using Cardano’s infrastructure and Emurgo Labs’ expertise, the program will provide up to 40 blockchain solutions that match SDG, create open source resource hubs, and promote crosschain cooperation to expand the influence of blockchains in the development sector.

Led by BGA Management Partners Glenn Tan and UNDP Altfinlab members, this cooperation will provide funds and strategic support for blockchain projects that solve challenges over 17 SDGs across five regions.
