The biggest games coming out in 2024

See, 2023 has been a very good year for gaming, giving us gems like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Baldur’s Gate III, and Alan Wake II. But we are optimistic and think it could be 2024. Better.

That’s the vibe we’re getting from the initial batch of games expected to be released next year, spanning everything from Final Fantasy VII Rebirth to Star Wars Outlaws and countless sequels and original titles in between.

It’s still too early. There are a lot more games coming in 2024, and even Nintendo Switch 2. no grand theft auto 6But we’ll have to wait until 2025 for that to happen.

But there’s already a lot to look forward to, and we’ve started highlighting some of the biggest hitters coming through the pipeline in 2024. Below you’ll find some of our initial picks for games to keep an eye on, but stay tuned. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

Release date: January 11, 2024

Ubisoft’s legendary action franchise finally returns with Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. The game combines elements of old-school side-scrolling entries with more modern 3D games, and adds a bit of Metroid-style exploration for good measure. . But that was only part of the story. The remake significantly expanded just one part of the original game into a full-blown adventure, then introduced two more entries over the next few years. The second, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, is scheduled for release in February, bringing more of the game’s iconic world into the 4K era.

Nintendo Switch 2 (or whatever you want to call it) isn’t scheduled for release until the end of 2024, but Nintendo still has some interesting games in the works for the original device.
