BitStarz 2.0 has arrived

Our site has been running well for many years and is basically a miracle in Internet time. But even when things are going well, there are always moments when you think, “Couldn’t this be better?”

And the answer is yes. Nothing broke, but we didn’t wake up in a burning server room. We’ve identified a few areas we could improve to make everyday play more convenient, faster, and require fewer clicks.

This is not a “new year, new me” identity crisis. We just wanted to improve a few things, so let’s take a closer look.

Hello, this is dark mode.

In this redesign, we’ve made several major changes, including the look, wallet, search tools, and speed (yes, our site is now much more responsive). But first, let’s start with the most notable new color scheme.

We’ve officially joined the Dark Side (it’s been long enough) and put everything into dark mode. It’s easier on the eyes, perfect for late-night gaming sessions, and was one of the most requested changes by players. And actually, this site looks really good like this.

As much as we love the color Barney the Dinosaur purple, we thought it was time for a change.

A wallet that does more

Remember our old deposit window and the shock on your face when you opened the site? Are you that annoying eye sore? Well, it’s long gone now.

So we replaced it with something that actually made sense. The new BitStarz Wallet puts everything in one place. Deposits, cashing out, exchanges, cryptocurrency purchases, etc. all happen in the same space.

You can also check out many more payment options. Added currencies are displayed right at the top, followed by popular cryptocurrencies, local methods, and all other coins supported through the exchange. And yes, it is. There is now a Buy Crypto tab where you can purchase coins using almost any fiat currency.

Find games faster

Trying to find a specific game in a list of over 7,000 can feel like scrolling through your camera roll to find that one photo from 2021. Although it’s technically possible, it’s not recommended for your mental health.

Our updated search functionality will help you keep your sanity. Now you can use filters to jump straight to what you’re looking for. Select a game type, sort by popularity, check out new games, select a studio, or simply type into the search bar and see results appear instantly.

No more scrolling through empty space, hoping that the game you’re looking for will magically appear.

I’m sure there are things we can do better.
