Anzen India Energy completes 100% acquisition of project manager SEPL Energy

Overview: Anzen India Energy Yield Plus Trust has completed the acquisition of 100% equity interest in project manager SEPL Energy Private Limited from Edelweiss Infrastructure Yield Plus. The transaction is expected to strengthen operational alignment and support InvIT’s long-term growth strategy in the energy infrastructure assets sector.
Anzen India Energy Yield Plus Trust is expected to remain focused after announcing the completion of the acquisition of SEPL Energy Private Limited, the Trust’s project manager, from Edelweiss Infrastructure Yield Plus.

By having project managers directly owned, Anzen is expected to increase decision-making efficiency and improve execution capabilities across its energy infrastructure portfolio.
SEPL Energy Private Limited plays a key role in managing and supervising the operational and development activities of the trust assets. Full ownership of the project manager is expected to create greater synergies and streamline the management structure of the InvIT.
