p2p – If an invalid INV type occurs in a message, does the entire message become invalid?

If an INV type unknown to the node appears in an INV message, GETDATA message, or other message where the INVETORY structure is used (e.g. MSG_WITNESS_TX for non-SegWit nodes, MSG_WITNESS_TX in INV message for segWit/non-SegWit nodes, some random INV type, etc.), is the entire message then considered invalid, or is just that “line” of the message skipped or ignored and the other lines and the rest of the message processed?
