This year also marks 10 years since we founded the cryptocurrency hardware wallet industry. yes! We celebrated our 10th birthday on December 12th. 🎉

It’s a huge milestone for all of us at Trezor. This year we unveiled the Trezor Safe Family product line. These new additions, which include hardware wallets and backup solutions, are a testament to our vision of cryptocurrencies becoming commonplace and millions of people self-storing their assets.
Here’s a look at the key moments when CEO Matej introduced Trezor Safe 3 and Trezor Keep Metal to the world at Bitcoin Amsterdam this October.

A major milestone this year was the 270-day journey of rebranding that transformed Trezor’s visual and experiential identity. Led by our Head of Brand, Honza Kocenda, this rebrand was not just a design change, but a recommitment to our core values ​​of security, independence, simplicity and friendliness.
We have evolved our brand to make cryptocurrency security more accessible and user-friendly. This is a necessary step to drive mass cryptocurrency adoption.
One of the most satisfying aspects of this year has been the opportunity to give back. With the launch of Trezor Academy, we have taken an important step toward community empowerment and education. Trezor Academy has worked in countries such as Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Uganda, Burundi and Kenya. We have big plans for Trezor Academy in 2024!
Thank you to everyone who enthusiastically participated in our limited edition Trezor Safe 3 Bitcoin only sale. For every product sold in 2013, €21 was allocated to support the Academy, continuing our commitment to making a positive impact beyond the business sphere.

2024 is the year of the fourth Bitcoin halving. I’m looking forward to it. We are very pleased and are seeing more and more adoption of self-custody.
