A game-changing experience at Consensus 2024
Attending Consensus 2024 in Austin, Texas was a groundbreaking experience for Verity One Ltd and Made in USA News. As an agnostic techie focused on building secure blockchain backends on Hyperledger Fabric, along with avid XRP enthusiast Michelle Tan, I looked to NFTs and token/coin management systems. Our goal is to manage the onboarding and tracking of nutritional credits we certify on the public chain and provide nutritional credits that are verified and certified by states and the U.S. government through EPA, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, VADEQ, CBP’s ISNRP, and Oyster. It was. Virginia LLC Corporation and the University of Maryland Environmental Services Center.While browsing the trade show, we had the opportunity to meet Matt Liimakka at the Ripple XRP Ledger booth. Despite my reservations about XRP, Matt’s welcoming approach convinced us to look into XRP’s ecosystem. This led me to Zoniqx, where co-founder and CBO Sanjeev Birari provided a demo that immediately caught my attention. Zoniqx promised to provide an integrated solution for the XRP Ledger System, customization and white labeling that perfectly suited our needs. This was an interesting discovery, largely influenced by Matt and Sanjeev’s presentation.Always an XRP enthusiast, Michelle was thrilled to meet Ripple’s tech rock star, David Schwartz. While she was enjoying her fan moment, I had the opportunity to connect deeply with David, who showed genuine interest in our nutrition credit plan. His supportive and insightful attitude encouraged and confirmed the importance of our plans to clean up the waters and estuaries of Virginia, DC, Chesapeake Bay, Delaware River Basin, Hudson River, and NYC.

Interacting with David Schwartz, a respected figure in Ripple’s tech community, and the Zoniqx team was pivotal in our strategic decisions. We have decided to adopt the new XRP EVM ERC platform. This is an important move that aligns with our mission to have a positive global impact. This decision sets a clear trajectory for our project, opening up new possibilities and potential benefits.
