Cryptocurrency startup Immutable is a gaming-focused company with Immutable X, a layer 2 Ethereum blockchain, and the upcoming zkEVM blockchain. This blockchain has launched a test network at the time of this writing.
Many games have adopted Immutable’s technology to provide faster and cheaper on-chain interactions than Ethereum’s own mainnet, and some of these titles have begun to flood the Epic Games Store, a major mainstream PC gaming marketplace.

Avalon
Do not confuse with . SF Blockchain Metaverse Game of the same name, Avalon Using the Immutable zkEVM blockchain, the game is a medieval open-world MMORPG that lets you create characters, craft items, complete quests, and explore a world with dragons, ships, and vast leafy landscapes. In Avalon, everything from characters to vehicles, buildings, and blacksmith shops will exist as NFTs.
Avalon is currently listed on the Epic Games Store for PC players as scheduled for release in 2024.
block road
block road The bird’s eye view medieval strategy and simulation MMO is currently available in early access on the Epic Games Store. Players must select their own land, build and staff a village, fight invaders, and instruct workers to mine, harvest, and complete other tasks. Blocklords presents story-based “choose your own adventure” moments where players must choose responses to various events and face different outcomes.
Blocklords is currently using the Immutable X and Polygon blockchains for optional NFTs, according to its Epic Games Store page.
delicium
delicium This is a science fiction MMORPG being developed using both blockchain and AI elements. According to the Epic Games Store page, the game is currently scheduled for release in 2025. Players can vote on game changes and purchase NFTs using the ERC-20 governance token AGI. Immutable’s Marketplace You can customize your character and weapons.
illubium
illubium The open-world exploration and pet auto-battle NFT game is currently available in early access on the Epic Game Store. Illuvium’s Epic list effectively combines two Illuvium games: Overworld and Arena. The former is a third-person sci-fi open world exploration game, while the latter is a pet auto-battle title in which players use Illuvial cards to battle enemy Illuvials in a small battle arena.
The game is currently free to play and has optional NFTs, but Illuvium is using the Immutable X blockchain for all in-game NFTs, such as Illuvials and cosmetic items.
metal core
metal core is a first-person sci-fi shooter and third-person mechanic game currently in Early Access on the Epic Games Store. The game uses the Immutable zkEVM blockchain to host NFTs, which are vehicles, weapons, crafting elements, and other items.
space nation online
Space Nation Online is an MMORPG being developed by apocalyptic sci-fi director Roland Emmerich, known for his work on films such as “Independence Day” and “The Day After Tomorrow.”
The world of Space Nation will have one or two different star systems to explore at launch, and will offer characters from three to five different races, including “Terran,” according to the game. Epic Store Page. There will be a blockchain version of Space Nation that will offer NFTs on the Immutable zkEVM network, although the current Epic listing does not indicate that it is a blockchain game.
Boneless
Like Space Nation, The Bornless is an NFT option game that is not currently listed as a blockchain game on the Epic store. Boneless is an upcoming first-person horror shooter currently scheduled for release on the Epic Games Store in 2024.
In the game, players can choose from a variety of superpowers and similar abilities and then jump into different shooting game modes such as multiplayer deathmatch or duo co-op matches.

But that’s not all. There are plenty of other games on the Epic store that use Immutable for their cryptographic elements. Fantasy MMORPG Age of Zalmoxis, card game The Lost Glitches, plane crash game Aviatrix, monster battler Chain Monsters, and shooter Citizen Contribute have all been added to Epic’s store as well.
Honorable Mention: Gods Unchained
Gods Unchained, Immutable’s NFT trading card game, first launched in 2018. It was added to the Epic Games Store in June 2023, but has since been removed. In the United States, searching for the title on the Epic Store returns no results, and the game’s previous tweet You will now receive a 404 error message for your Epic store listings.
