Despite its name as ‘digital silver’, the Litecoin price has been in a slump last year. The altcoin’s price surged in 2023, leading up to the halving. Since then, it has failed to maintain this upward momentum, falling short of triple-digit levels. However, here it seems that the tide is finally turning for the Litecoin price, with a notable prediction from an analyst suggesting that the rally could push the price to new all-time highs.
Litecoin price reaches $7,000
According to cryptocurrency analysts on the X (formerly Twitter) platform, Litecoin price is expected to outperform all major cryptocurrencies in the market. The analysis focuses on the long-term growth of Litecoin, which could outperform Bitcoin and Ethereum.

According to the chart, the LTC price is still trending below $70, which is an 84% drop from its all-time high of $412. However, all hope is not lost, as the cryptocurrency analyst believes that there is further upside for this altcoin. Not only does the analyst believe that the Litecoin price will eventually cross the triple digits again, but he also believes that this altcoin could even hit the quadruple digits.
The Litecoin price target includes an initial surge above $100. After that, the cryptocurrency analyst expects the recovery to continue. It is expected to eventually break the $1,000 level, which would represent a price increase of around 1,600% from here. But it doesn’t end there. The cryptocurrency analyst expects the price to eventually go up to $7,000. Now, if this is executed, it would mean a price increase of over 11,000% from the current price level.

As for the time frame for when this will happen, crypto analysts seem to expect it to happen before 2026. This corresponds to the bull market of 2025, when cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin are expected to hit new all-time highs. However, an 11,000% gain would make Litecoin the best performer among the top 20 cryptocurrencies by market cap.
“Hate it or hate it, IMO Litecoin will outperform all the major cryptos. See you at $7,000,” the post reads.
The Litecoin price itself has not been that impressive. According to data from Coinmarketcap, the price has been slowing down, rising only 1.42% in the past year. Momentum has also been dropping sharply, with total open interest remaining below $300 million for more than two consecutive months.
