Are you an Ultra HNI or Family Office looking for an option to generate a stable income? The WIN strategy is as follows:
India’s changing economic environment and several measures taken by the government to provide ease of investment, including tax policy changes, have led to increased participation by high net worth individuals and family offices.
Today, with India emerging as an oasis of opportunity in a challenging global environment, Wodehouse Capital Advisors has designed strategies to help wealthy promoter families and influential individuals have a steady stream of income.
Investment banking firms have observed a growing trend of promoter families selling mid-sized companies as part of consolidation efforts and accumulating significant corpus funds.
To enable you to invest your corpus in a more efficient manner that can ensure stable income, Wodehouse Capital has launched its first WIN strategy in partnership with investment management firm Alchemy Capital.
The WIN strategy aims to secure current assets while creating a steady stream of income for wealthy promoter families.
Winning Investment Philosophy
The WIN strategy is an equity fund that matches the index returns of the stock market year-on-year. Benchmarked against S&P BSE 500 TRI, the strategy is based on generating long-term risk-adjusted returns through a multi-cap portfolio. It consists of 14 to 18 stocks.
It follows the ‘Growth at a Reasonable Price/Premium’ (GARP) investment philosophy and emphasizes a qualitative approach to stock selection.
It considers a variety of factors, including quality of management, opportunity size, valuation, competitive advantage, return on equity (RoE), return on capital employed (RoCE), and free cash generation.
Fund managers construct portfolios by selecting equity-based fund/strategy mandates.
With a minimum ticket size of Rs 50 crore, the WIN strategy maintains a high-risk profile with a tenure or investment period of 3-5 years and primarily invests in equities with a cash portion.
It is placed in liquid funds/debt securities and only a very small portion is allocated to expenses and incidentals.
The strategy also includes periodic payments at the discretion of the portfolio manager, with a grace period extending until the end of the next two quarters from the date of investment.
Simply put, the WIN strategy allows wealthy promoter families and professionals to secure assets today while maintaining a certain high-profile lifestyle for the foreseeable future.
