B-Stock Summer Team Spotlight 2024: Meet Sabrina Glaser

B-Stock is thrilled to welcome Sabrina Glaser to our Account Management team this summer! As a summer team member, we know Sabrina will be a tremendous asset to our company. Sabrina is currently studying Marketing and Business Analytics at the Kelley School of Business. Learn a little more about Sabrina and see her answers to a few questions below.

Question: What are you most looking forward to learning at B-Stock?

This summer, I’m most excited to learn about different analytics tools like Tableau. I enjoy using the data I’m given to analyze patterns that lead to new insights and improvements.

Question: When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? (Or still want to be!)

When I was young, I wanted to be an ophthalmologist and a tap dancer! My passion for learning was always evident, especially when I asked my ophthalmologist complex questions about the latest medical advances.
Discover. I grew up dancing competitively and quickly became fascinated with the style of dance. I constantly worked to improve my skills throughout my teenage years. A few years later, I now want to work as a data analyst or marketing specialist at a company similar to B-Stock in Boston!

Question: What is the most memorable piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Be a Fruit Loop in a world full of Cheerios. It’s brave to choose your true self! The best advice I’ve ever received is to be myself without excuses. I’ve learned to embrace my outgoing, confident personality, and it’s helped me and opened doors in every area of ​​my life.

Question: Where can people meet you after work or school?

After work or school, I can most likely be found sitting on the couch with my dog. When I’m not relaxing, I can be found riding my bike at my favorite indoor cycling studio, listening to Taylor Swift!

Q: What is your hidden talent?

I can recite the entire Despicable Me movie.

Question: What music is playing in the background when you work (music genre, podcast, news)?

Whether I’m working, driving, or just hanging out with friends, I always listen to Taylor Swift!

Question: What can I do with unlimited PTO?

I’m back in Milan, Italy, where I spent my semester abroad! I savored authentic Italian cuisine at all my favorite local restaurants.

Question: What do you do when you get creatively stuck? How do you get creative?

When I feel creatively blocked, I usually take a break from what I’m doing, listen to some music, and take a short walk. The short break allows me to brainstorm and gather my thoughts again.

Question: What are you proud of that you have accomplished?

During my internship at Aflac Insurance Company last summer, I achieved my goal of being the top performer in the internship program. I received several awards for closing new accounts and exceeding sales goals.

Question: What would you like to contribute to B-Stock?

I am looking to bring a creative and analytical mindset to B-Stock. I strive to provide a unique perspective and detailed data analysis to help B-Stock improve various aspects of its business.
