Global fraud networks are on the lookout for innocent investors, and most notorious scammers are launching more heinous attacks against cryptocurrency investors. In another fraud attack, fraudsters stole a select collection of non-fungible tokens from the Opensea NFT marketplace through a phishing attack.
Scammers steal Azuki #5007 and Beanz #8008 NFTs.
Peckshield, a well-known blockchain security company, confirmed in a blog post on January 23 that an unknown, notorious fraudster had stolen some NFTs, including Beanz Official #8008 and Azuki #5007, from the Opensea NFT Marketplace through a phishing attack.

The most recent cryptocurrency and NFT scams
Last Friday, the Peckshield blockchain security company confirmed that fraudsters had stolen three collections of non-fungible tokens via a phishing attack on Blur.io, including the Beanz NFT #16149, Beanz NFT #12,990, and Beanz #607 NFT collections.

Additionally, the blockchain security company revealed that fraudsters stole Lil Pudgy #8867, Lil Pudgy #18944, and Lil Pudgy #20,797 from the Blur NFT Marketplace through a phishing attack. These scammers target investors in the most popular NFT projects, such as Pudgy Penguins.

Meanwhile, PeckShield detected that fraudsters stole $44,800 worth of cryptocurrency from Rose Finance in a hacking attack on January 18. Earlier this week, Peckshield reported that the address 0x1749… We also detected that 3487 people have fallen victim to a phishing scam. ~$3.87 million worth of losses in $aEthWETH.
