Binance Expands Cryptocurrency Offerings with BounceBit Integration
In a significant move to expand its cryptocurrency offerings, Binance has integrated BounceBit (BB) into multiple services. The global cryptocurrency exchange and blockchain platform announced that BounceBit has been added to Binance Simple Earn, Buy Crypto, Binance Convert, Binance Margin, Binance Futures, and Binance Auto-Invest.
Expanded Access to BounceBit
Starting May 15, 2024 at 10:00 (UTC), users will be able to purchase BB using payment options supported by Binance Auto Invest. This integration allows users to purchase BB directly using credit/debit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or buy and sell BB directly with their available wallet balance on the “Buy Cryptocurrency” page. Additionally, users can trade BB commission-free for BTC, USDT, and other tokens supported by Binance Convert.
Binance Margin’s New Borrowable Assets
Binance Margin added BB as a new borrowing asset to Cross Margin and Isolated Margin. The BB/USDT pair in cross margin and isolated margin will be available from 2024-05-13 12:30 (UTC). Users are encouraged to consult Margin Data for an up-to-date list of margin-capable assets and additional information on specific limits, collateralization ratios, and rates.
Binance Futures Launches BB Perpetual Contract
Binance Futures will launch the USDⓈ-M BB perpetual contract at 2024-05-13 12:30 (UTC), offering up to 50x leverage. However, at the time of launch, the maximum funding rate for BBUSDT perpetual contract is +2.00% / -2.00%, and the funding fee settlement frequency is every 4 hours. Users should note that the BBUSDT perpetual contract is subject to the Binance Terms of Use and Binance Futures Service Agreement.
The expansion of Binance’s cryptocurrency offering through the BounceBit integration is an important move that demonstrates the platform’s continued commitment to expanding its services for users around the world. However, users should keep in mind that digital asset prices may have high market risks and price volatility, so users should only invest in products with which they are familiar and understand the risks.
