Bitcoin core developer Antoine Poinsot: Great Consensus Cleanup

Earlier this month, while attending the MIT Bitcoin Expo, I was able to sit with Bitcoin Core Developer Antoine Poinsot.

At present, Antoine at Chaincode Labs was in Liana, a bitcoin security company of Revault, a previously signed Vault, and Bitcoin Wallet, a miniScript -based Bitcoin Wallet. Antoine’s first commit was merged with Bitcoin Core on May 16, 2019.

We discussed the Great Consensus Cleanup suggestion Antoine, which was presented as a prospective softfork of the Bitcoin Protocol, modeling Matt Corallo’s original Burson in 2019.

Bitcoin has struggled with numerous bugs over the years with serious events such as Inflation Bugs in 2010. There is still a bad bug in the protocol, but nevertheless there is still a bad bug.

Antoine talks about his proposed solutions to solve these various protocolberg Wi. Some may probably be an easy -to -considered foot if you know them. But some are a very serious defect that can be a real danger to the bitcoin network.
