Bitcoin rose near $44,000 as U.S. stocks recorded their biggest loss in three months.

“We saw a sideways trend this week, with Bitcoin fluctuating between $40,500 and $43,500 and Ethereum between $2,150 and $2,250,” said Rachel Lin, CEO and co-founder of SynFutures. “These coins and the broader market are consolidating near recent highs following a sharp rise in value in November,” she said.
