Bitget and OnRamp Make Cryptocurrency Accessible to Indians
Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has partnered with cryptocurrency payment solution provider OnRamp Money. This partnership aims to facilitate a seamless transition between fiat and cryptocurrencies.
This integration gives Bitget users access to a variety of options to buy and sell cryptocurrencies using a variety of local currencies. This collaboration simplifies the process of converting fiat to cryptocurrency and vice versa, providing users with a hassle-free experience.
Specifically, users can utilize payment methods such as UPI, IMPS, bank transfer and VietQR to transact with INR, NGN, AED, MXN and VND respectively.
The introduction of a commission-free offer for all cryptocurrencies makes trading even sweeter for Bitget users. This move, combined with existing fee-free offers for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), aims to encourage more individuals to explore the digital currency realm.
Bitget strives to increase inclusivity and accessibility within the cryptocurrency space by eliminating fees associated with traditional banking channels.
Gracy Chen, Bitget’s Managing Director, expressed the company’s commitment to advancing cryptocurrency adoption globally. “At Bitget, we are committed to enhancing the capabilities of our platform, especially in facilitating the transition from fiat to cryptocurrency,” Chen said. “This integration is a significant step forward toward our mission to democratize cryptocurrency trading globally.”
The collaboration with OnRamp follows Bitget’s earlier initiative aimed at improving cryptocurrency accessibility through fiat. In March, Bitget Wallet, Asia’s leading Web3 wallet, integrated with Onmeta, a leading fiat on/off ramp solution. This integration expands the gateway for users to purchase cryptocurrencies using local fiat currencies, covering a variety of major blockchains and tokens.
Last month, Onramp Money secured seed funding from FunFair Ventures.
