BitGo integrates with Hedera (HBAR) committee

BitGo joins the Hedera Council and commits to strengthening the Hedera network through digital asset security and trust expertise.

BitGo Trust Company Inc., a leader in digital asset trust and security, announced that it is joining the Hedera Council. This strategic partnership is set to strengthen the development and success of the Hedera network while fostering cutting-edge innovation in the digital asset space.

Founded in 2013, BitGo has solidified its reputation as an industry pioneer, serving more than 1,500 customers in more than 50 countries around the world. Known for providing secure hot wallets and regulated custody cold wallets through an integrated platform and API, BitGo’s digital asset security expertise is unmatched.

Prior to this collaboration, BitGo has already invested significantly in engineering and product development to support Hedera Token Service (HTS) and operates six mirror nodes on the Hedera network, known for its open source, leaderless proof. Stake Protocol.

As the 32nd member of the Hedera Council, BitGo joins a diverse group of top organizations united in their resistance to collusion and commitment to network innovation and decentralization. The committee’s role includes launching the initial network nodes and guiding the development of Hedera’s software and services through a democratic voting process.
