Blockchain – Can the Bitcoin network freeze someone’s assets?

Miners typically have no idea who owns which bitcoins.

Miners from other countries also successfully mine blocks from time to time, so our hypothetical sneaky businessman would not actually experience a freeze.

I have the impression that most miners are in it for the money and don’t really care about the attitudes of those they get money from in the form of transaction fees. They may enjoy taking money from people who denigrate their country. Assuming the accuser was foolish enough to reveal their Bitcoin address.
