Camp Network has raised $4 million in a seed funding round.
Camp Network, a modular layer 2 blockchain, has raised $4 million in a seed funding round as it prepares for its mainnet launch.
Maven 11 led the round, which included participation from OKX, Protagonist, Inception Capital, Paper Ventures, HTX, Moonrock Capital, and Eterna Capital. Angel investors, including the founders of Eigen Layer, Sei Network, and Selini, also contributed funds.
These funds will support network construction ahead of the mainnet launch in June. Additionally, 20 active teams within the Camp Network ecosystem will receive funding to improve their rankings. The network’s testnet launches this month.
“This investment will advance Camp Network’s mission to redefine the future of on-chain consumers and further develop the ecosystem for all consumer use cases,” James Chi said in a statement Tuesday.
Camp Network focuses on creating a decentralized service network for the music, media, and entertainment industries. The network uses off-chain engagement data from social and streaming apps to help consumer-focused groups develop monetization strategies for virtual content.
