JERUSALEM (Reuters) – Chinese shipping company COSCO has suspended deliveries to Israel, Israeli financial news website Globes reported on Sunday.

The report, which did not include details of the decision, comes as Red Sea shipping routes have been disrupted by attacks carried out by Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels.

Israel’s COSCO office declined to comment. Israeli port officials said they were verifying the report.
