Cloud Reclaim Moves to Fully Featured Testnet – A Milestone in Infrastructure Reclaim
Restaving Cloud’s first protocol, K2, allows middleware to access staked ETH security on demand.
All 880k+ ETH validators are compatible without changing withdrawal credentials or business logic.
The testnet is available now and includes developer documentation.
As the first protocol in the Restake Cloud, K2 is strategically positioned to lead the industry in defining what is possible with retake. The protocol has been built and the testnet is fully functional. This means builders can start creating never-before-seen applications built on Ethereum security extensions. ETH reinvestors can test default delegation using currently running validators. Anyone with a laptop can run Reporter software.

Native delegation is a groundbreaking feature. This will allow all existing validators, solo stakers, DVT and LST stakers to re-stake without changing their withdrawal credentials. All validator deposits to Ethereum deposit contracts are protected and unaffected even during restaking. It follows the same principles of decentralization and inclusiveness found throughout the Ethereum community. K2 creates an open innovation space that fuels the next evolution of web3 applications.
For the first time, the entire Ethereum ecosystem can now be reused across all middleware, dapps, and networks without putting validators’ ETH at risk. K2’s rich inclusion of Ethereum infrastructure allows validator owners to access additional revenue while retaining full autonomy in infrastructure selection and key management. This is similar to a validator accessing MEV post-merge.
Restking Cloud strengthens Ethereum’s base layer by increasing available rewards. Validators who earn staking rewards and MEV can now earn additional returns in ETH through re-staking. People using default delegation will have more opportunities if they choose to become preferred node operators.
This powerful new infrastructure enables rapid innovation and a clear path to explosive growth.

Reporter is a lightweight ZK gadget for ad hoc networks. This is an overhaul of the entire re-staking ecosystem. They are the ones reporting the slashing. Anyone with an old laptop can earn ETH by running the Reporter software.
Matt Shams (Anis), CEO of Blockswap Labs (a key contributor to Restake Cloud) said:
The future of Restake Cloud is clear and there is clear market demand for the product we have built. As we begin onboarding Retakers and middleware, we will continue to share the future of Restake Cloud. This is just the beginning. By this time next year, we will have launched a re-staking infrastructure that will go far beyond the capabilities of the basic slashing and activation logic seen in this testnet release.
Now that testing is possible, the community around Restking Cloud is growing. There are builders and retakers from across the web3 industry joining Restake Cloud. Please follow the links below for more information:
