For several weeks, we’ve been cheering the welcome return of the Solana ecosystem. brushSolana NFTSolana meme coinEven the helpless Solana Smartphone—Momentum began to cool this week, intensifying exchanges between blockchain advocates and those of its dominant rival, Ethereum.

On Thursday, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin lament that much Dying Web3 Vision This originally sparked the development of many cryptocurrencies and was blamed for delaying progress due to the exorbitant gas fee costs.

And just in time, native tokens of the Ethereum layer 2 network such as Optimism and Arbitrum surged more than 30% and 16% respectively. This is probably due to the blockchain’s low gas fees.

Even seemingly unrelated news events were drawn into the fray. When Donald Trump was in the news earlier this week started off-roading Twitter users, who have secured millions of dollars worth of ETH from struggling NFT projects, were quick to see the news as a kind of referendum on the never-ending Ethereum/Solana scam.
