Decentralized IP address based on Bitcoin address, abolition of IPv4 and IPv6
What would happen if we replaced the ideal route controlled and monitored IP address with a new Internet address based on a Bitcoin address? These addresses inherit all Bitcoin address functionality. That means it is purely decentralized, secure, future-proof, robust, anonymous, unhackable, and not controlled by a single entity.
Is it just a dream? now. If this were true, we would be changing the Internet as we know it.
- Bitcoin address + Bitcoin DNS, access to Bitcoin domain
win10 network adapter: Enter the Bitcoin address. Wi-Fi DHCP Static: Enter your Bitcoin address.
IPv4 and IPv6 are centralized. It is managed by domestic companies.
Try a Google search for “Who controls your IP addresses?” You will immediately receive “IANA: Internet Assigned Numbers Authority”. IANA is the highest authority responsible for IP address allocation and assignment. There are five Regional Internet Registries (RIRs) with jurisdiction under IANA.
In reality, an individual or regular Internet user cannot request an IP address directly from IANA or one of the five RIRs, but only from an Internet service provider, such as a service provided by a mobile or telecommunications operator.
- Truly decentralized, there is no single formal foundation, committee, corporation, or entity with permanent, single control over the protocol.
