Digital Minister Mathieu Michel said European blockchain would be boosted under Belgium’s EU Council presidency.

“We pay a lot of attention to privacy, but also transparency and data control. And blockchain has technological aspects that can bring this about. This is the interoperability between French, Italian and Spanish applications, for example,” said Michel.
