Divi’s Laboratories Q4 Results: Cons PAT rose 68% year-on-year to Rs 538 crore. Dividend declared at 30 rupees per share

Divi’s Laboratories on Saturday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 538 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2024, a 68% increase over the Rs 321 crore reported by the company in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal. This was higher than the ETNow estimate of Rs 473 crore.

The company has also recommended a final dividend of Rs 30 per share for fiscal 2023-24.

Consolidated revenue for the reported quarter stood at Rs 2,303 crore, up from Rs 1,951 crore reported in the year-ago quarter, registering an 18 per cent growth.

For the full financial year, consolidated profit after tax (PAT) was Rs 1,600 crore, down from Rs 1,824 crore reported by the company in FY23. Meanwhile, revenue from operations was reported at Rs 7,845 crore in FY24 and Rs 7,767 crore in FY23.

During the financial year 2023-24, Divi’s Laboratories earned a consolidated total income of Rs 8,184 crore as against Rs 8,112 crore during the previous financial year. Profit before tax (PBT) for the year was Rs 2,163 crore against Rs 2,369 crore in the previous year. On a standalone basis, PAT for the quarter under review was Rs 319 crore against the reported Rs 319 crore. corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year. Total independent income was reported at Rs 233.8 billion against Rs 197.4 billion in the fourth quarter of 2023.
