Exchange Rates – Is there a tool to calculate the increase in value of BTC based on the timing of the transfer?

I’ve tried Googling it but there are lots of reasons why it doesn’t work instead. This seems trivial to me.

• When 1 BTC = 100 USD, if I have 1 BTC in my wallet
• Then I transfer 1 BTC to my wallet that day.
• The next day the price soars to 1 BTC = 200 USD.

For me, that was a 100% return because in those 24 hours my portfolio went from 2 BTC worth $200 to 2 BTC worth $400. However, in the Ledger Nano app, they say they made a 400% profit because they converted 1 BTC worth $100 to 2 BTC worth $400.

Is there an app or website that calculates the actual value of my coins based on the exchange rate at the time of purchase? Because now I’m doing manual bookkeeping in Excel like a farmer.
