Exciting news for NFT artists as Cool Cats launches 2024 art contest

Coot Cats, a digital asset incubation studio and parent company of the blue-chip Cool Cats non-fungible token collection, has announced its fourth annual art competition. The art contest is open to non-fungible token artists of any medium. In this article, we will learn more about this art contest.

Cool Cats launches Clontest 2024

In a blog post on May 24, the Cool Cats team confirmed the launch of their fourth annual art competition, Clontest 2024. The highly anticipated art competition is open to all digital artists in all mediums and this year boasts its largest prize pool ever! The art competition has begun and will run for 7 days.

Launched in July 2021, Cool Cats is a collection of 9,999 non-fungible tokens randomly generated on the Ethereum blockchain and curated by style. Cool Cat NFTs allow holders to participate in exclusive events such as NFT claims, sweepstakes, community sweepstakes, and more.

Each cat depicted in the NFT collection has a unique set of characteristics that are a combination of hundreds of different traits in the collection. A combination of characteristics, including different body types, facial expressions, clothing and accessories, helps ensure that no two cats in your collection are the same.

Within months of launch, it has achieved tremendous success and adoption among cryptocurrency traders and non-fungible token collectors, leading to a frenzy of community engagement and trading activity. Since then, the Cool Cats team has launched other projects, which have also gained mainstream adoption among traders.

In February 2022, Cool Cats launched the Adventurer’s Guild. The NFT project allowed collectors to earn MILK, the native social token, by completing quests with Cool Cats NFTs. $MILK is a cryptocurrency token created using the ERC-20 protocol that can be redeemed for random prizes.

How can NFT artists participate in Clontest 2024?

Clontest 2024, Cool Cats’ fourth annual art competition, has launched on the Alphabot app. The art contest requires NFT artists to reference at least four characters, including Milo, Ardi, Chugs, Blue, Jo, Sage, Kira, and Bones, and submit their entries through the official Clontest link.

In this art context, NFT artists can also include as many Cool Cats, Shadow Wolves, and SideKX NFTs they own to increase their chances. With input from the Cool Cats team, art competitions are judged on pure creativity. The Cool Cats Art Contest runs for 7 days until May 31st. The top 15 NFT artists and creators will each receive a free Shadow Wolf NFT collection.
