Meanwhile, Macy’s is a global retail chain with more than 500 stores in the United States. The flagship store is located in Herald Square in the borough of Manhattan in New York City. As of January 2023, the retail company had 94,000 employees and annual sales of $25.3 billion.
What are Cool Cats
The Cool Cats NFT project and Macy’s announced their partnership in November of last year. At that time, the joint team held an art competition called ‘Color Me Cool’. This collaboration is designed to inspire creators everywhere to create lasting and unique works of art that blend physical artistry and digital innovation.
Last November, Cool Cats and Macy’s gave away 1,000 exclusive commemorative parade figures featuring Blue Cat and Chug. The joint team is now giving away the remaining empty figures to all creators and artists. NFT artists who will claim their figurines will have their personalized creations displayed as figurine collectibles.
