Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has created its own NFT blockchain network in cooperation with AVA LABS, a team of a popular Avalanche L1 blockchain network. The International Football Federation teased the creation of blockchain last month and vowed to move an unregistered token collection to the upcoming EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) -The matched blockchain network.

FIFA joins AVA LABS and starts an NFT network.

In a short interview with COINDESK on May 22, John Nahas, the chief business officer of AVA Labs, has partnered with the International Football Federation (FIFA) to create a blockchain network. The new blockchain network is compatible with EVM and is expected to provide improved transaction performance, future functions and expansion improvements. The NFT network was broadcast live on May 21, 2025. Talking about integration, Nahas said:
