Franklin Templeton Fobxx token currency funds are broadcast live on Solana.

Franklin Templeton announced on February 12 that the token currency fund, “Franklin Onchain Us Government Fund” (FOBXX) was deployed in Solana, which is now available for eight other blockchains.

According to the website of Franklin Templeton, FOBXX invests 99.5%of the total assets in collateral by US government securities or cash in US government securities, cash and repurchase contracts. It provides an annual percentage rate (APY) of 4.55%.

Token Money Fund is a real fund that publishes stocks digitally from the blockchain and provides a secondary market without down time.

FOBXX’s market cap is the third largest money fund as of February 11, tokenized at almost $ 594 million. The fund has 544 holders and has increased 2.5% over the last 30 days.

The least amount of FOBXX can be purchased from Aptos for a total of $ 21.4 million. As a result, Solana’s FOBXX integration can provide the boosts for the token currency fund ecosystem of the network.

As of February 11, Solana issued about $ 133 million token stocks, and less than 4% of the market cap of this sector.

More than $ 3.5 billion

The token currency fund sector experienced a significant growth of 415%in 2024, and its market cap ended nearly $ 4 billion. The industry’s highest record was almost $ 4.2 billion registered on January 7.

As of February 11, the market cap of the token currency fund has decreased by up to 15% to $ 3.6 billion. Nevertheless, it was still four times larger than the market cap registered on the same date last year.

Ether Leeum dominates the market and hosts more than $ 2.4 billion token stocks. The second largest network has almost $ 330 million in the digital money fund sharing version. This is mainly due to the $ 373 million FOBXX issued on the network.
