From RPC to Bitcoin Core – Bitcoin Stack Exchange

I checked bitcon.conf in the main folder… What did I do wrong?

Obviously, I don’t mean folders like: main, but it’s a bit ambiguous. One possibility is that Bitcoin Core is not looking. bitcoin.conf Wherever you think.

In windows you typically find: %APPDATA%\Bitcoin

On Linux you typically find: $HOME/.bitcoin

You can specify a specific path to the file using the following command options:

-conf=/path/bitcoin.conf
