FTX Affiliate Alameda Research Dismisses Grayscale Lawsuit

The lawsuit, filed last March, claims that FTX’s collapse left more than $9 billion of investor funds trapped in Grayscale’s Bitcoin Trust (GBTC). The complaint was part of a broader effort to “maximize” recovery and recoup FTX customers who had their funds lost or locked out by failed cryptocurrency exchange and affiliate platforms. The lawsuit alleged that Grayscale’s fees were excessively high. Monday’s filing does not indicate why Alameda dismissed the lawsuit.
